How can a Manufacturer of Wooden Windows in Portugal be so Successful?
MESTRE RAPOSA INTERNATIONAL®
When the Helmert brothers came up with the idea to establish Mestre Raposa in Portugal over 20 years ago, their goal was to introduce high-end windows and doors from Germany to a market as underdeveloped as Portugal’s. With the local product quality being inferior, this was an ideal opportunity for their business idea.
International Expansion and Over 5,000 Projects Completed
Mestre Raposa Portugal® quickly became a national and international supplier of high-quality doors and windows, completing more than 5,000 projects in 20 years. From the outset, quality was paramount, which explains why Mestre Raposa International® is now a well-recognised Portuguese company beyond its borders, especially thanks to many foreign clients who have entrusted us with their secondary home projects.
Development of a Distinctive Range of Products
By developing our own products from different materials, we have created a distinctive range of wood and wood-aluminium windows and doors, appreciated across Europe. In France, in particular, our “mouton et gueule de loup” window profile, often required for the renovation of historic monuments, has been a great success.
A Strong Economic Partnership Between France and Portugal
France and Portugal have always been important economic partners due to their geographical proximity and long-standing trade relations. This led Mestre Raposa International® to create an international department with a bilingual French-speaking commercial and technical team, to better respond to the needs of our French clients.
Technical Testing and the Creation of a Paris Branch
Before entering the French market, Mestre Raposa International® had its wood and wood-aluminium window profiles tested by the FCBA institute in Bordeaux and ITECONS at the University of Coimbra. The results were outstanding, solidifying our entry into this market. This led to the creation of a branch in Paris, primarily focused on the French market.
Expanding into a New Francophone Market
Our current ambition also drives us to conquer other Francophone territories, in addition to our activities in Spain, which we began some time ago. Our optimised manufacturing process relies on ultra-modern CNC machines from the German manufacturer Weinig, allowing us to produce a wide range of wood and wood-aluminium windows and doors, such as lift-and-slide doors, folding doors, and traditionally crafted windows.
Historic Windows and Mouton et Gueule de Loup Profile
Mestre Raposa International® is proud to offer a range of traditional-style products, with carefully replicated old wooden windows and doors. These products are in high demand in cities across Portugal and France, available in various types of wood: pine, meranti, oak, and accoya, with a warranty ranging from 10 to 20 years.
A Competitive B2B Model for Large-Scale Projects
Our exclusive focus on the B2B sector allows us to offer wooden windows at prices significantly below market rates, especially for large-scale projects. Thanks to our ultra-modern production facilities, we are able to produce large quantities in a short time.
Today, 90% of buyers use the internet to inform their purchasing decisions. It is a crucial channel for efficiently handling wood or wood-aluminium projects. We encourage our clients to contact us via this method for quick responses and tailored solutions.
